God’s Gift by J. Cole. Jump to around 1:00 if you’re in a hurry. I’m so damn excited for Cole World: Sideline Story. Seriously, I’ve been waiting on a debut album for the last 2 years. It’s a Cole World!
See HERE for a better video. Wouldn’t let me embed but worth the look.
Yessir! After releasing Can’t Get Enough (Feat. Trey Songz) last week, J. Cole leaked Mr. Nice Watch (Feat. Jay-Z) for us today. I don’t even think this post needs a compelling blurb. It’s J. Cole and Jay-Z. Do it.
9.27.11 is the date, folks.

To be real with you, I haven’t had a chance to listen to these yet but J. Cole is one of the only artists whose new music I feel consistently warrants posting more times than not. That said, let’s all take a not-so-daunting leap of faith and get these tracks to the iPod as soon as possible. Click to download!
HEAVY (Produced by J. Cole)
NEVERLAND (Produced by Chase & Cashe and J. Cole)
YES!!! It’s finally happening. After waiting for 2 years now, J. Cole’s debut album Cole World: The Sideline Story is getting closer and closer to being officially released. J. Cole was the first artist signed to Jay-Z’s new all-inclusive company Roc Nation and is pretty consensually known as the dude to watch in hip-hop. The Warm Up, Cole’s second mixtape, is still one of the nastiest, dirtiest, filthiest, grimiest, and all-other-synonyms-ist records I have ever heard. 9.27.11, everybody. Save the date. I know I will.
Sidenote: Jay-Z also signed Jay Electronica. You think dude likes sound of “Jay” a little bit?
Pick up The Warmup while you wait over at Datpiff.
- “Show love, make room for the Bad Girls Club”
As my fellow Daily Doser mentioned a hot minute ago, Bad Girls Club is Wale’s highly promoted new ish. This track is not only the first leak off Ambition, but also Wale’s first record on Maybach Music Group. The track got a lot of hype leading up to its release but to be honest, I expected something different. Don’t get me wrong though, I dig the track. The beat is fire, but in my opinion (and critics will agree with me), sounds a bit like something the Neptunes would do. Wale spits two solid verses and J. Cole handles the hook. J. Cole can use some voice lessons, but while it sounds a bit off it still works. Definitely something to slap at a house party.
From what I hear the video is on the way. Obviously you can’t download this track. Muh fuggas is tryna get paid.
UPDATE: Here’s the download link.
There’s a snippet floating around, but I’d rather just hit y’all with the real deal. Be patient my friends…
